Open to youth grade 7+, come along to the first PraiseFest of 2016 at the never before venue of OLGC Forestville on Fri March 11.

2017 Australian Catholic Youth Festival - Sydney
Where: Sydney
What: After a successful inaugural ACYF in Melbourne in 2013 followed by another successful ACYF in Adelaide in 2015 which both brought together approx 3,500 youth, a 3rd ACYF has been arranged for Sydney in 2017.
The festival is a gathering of catholic youth from across the country to celebrate, socialize, learn, pray and grow. Bands, talks, dancing, discussions, dinners, and more.
Soul is hoping to take a group of young people to it. Start saving now as it will cost approx $390.

Summer School 2017
Where: St Stanislaus College, Bathurst.
What: Gathering of youth (16-35) to celebrate, socialize, learn, sing, dance and pray. Talks, dinners, bands, talent night, Mass, soccer, tennis, swimming and more. Open to all young people Year 10+.
Theme: TBD.
Cost: Adult: $490. Student: $440.

WYD Krakow 2016
Where: Krakow, capital of Poland, built in 600AD.
What: Gathering of over 2 million catholic youth from across the globe to celebrate, socialize, learn, pray and grow. Bands, talks, dancing, discussions, dinners, and more.
Days in the Diocese events will run in the 2 weeks leading up to the WYD week in nearby dioceses of Krakow. Saint JPII is the patron saint of WYD Krakow.
Theme for this 31st WYD: "Blessed are the merciful: they will receive mercy" Mt 5:7.
The Australian Salvatorians are organising an Aussie Group Pilgrimage. Soul is going to join this. Our Parish is Salvatorian and they have strong Polish connections, so start saving now, as it will cost approx $6,500 to go.
